Rev. Van A. Moore, D.R.Ed.

Pastor Moore was born in Martinsville, Virginia and trusted Christ as Savior at the Clearview Baptist Church in 1974. The Lord called him to preach in 1976; in 1979, he attended Trinity Baptist College, Jacksonville, Florida. While there, he met Darlene Gail Harris, whom he married in 1981. Both graduated with Bachelor’s degrees in 1982. Dr. Moore has sinced completed his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Religious Education (2006-2009) from Cornerstone Bible Seminary, Bassett, Virginia.

Preacher Moore has pastored churches in Baldwin, Florida; Patrick Springs, and Martinsville, Virginia. Dr. and Mrs. Moore have served as educators in various levels of Christian education. This would include elementary, secondary, and college teaching, not to mention administrative responsibilities.

The Moores experienced the blessed birth of their daughter, Sara Bethany, in 1989. She graduated from Westover Christian Academy, Danville, Virginia in 2007, and is presently an education student at Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, NC.
